Feel easier in your body, breath, and voice through this unique experiential webinar that will show you the what and where of fascia and have you feeling the WOW!

Once thought of as inert and in the way of the more important stuff in the body like muscles, bones, organs, and nerves, we now know that fascia is both our largest sensory organ as well as our ‘soft skeleton’ which gives our body it’s structural integrity.

This creates a shift in how we view the body holistically and how we work with it functionally to help it shift towards more efficient singing.

In this workshop we’ll clarify and update some historic ideas including:

*The spine is NOT a compression column

*Do muscles actually stretch?

*A myofascial system instead of a musculoskeletal one

*Myofascial continuity instead of origin/insertion

*The real meaning of 'anatomy' and its pedagogical pitfalls

*Tension's positive function

You’ll also experience:

*An increase in interoception through touch

*How to use tension to achieve release

*How the your connection to the ground influences freedom in your throat and jaw

*Increased ease in your body, breath, and voice

You will leave this workshop with a world of new thoughts about the body, and new strategies to use with students immediately.

It might be good to have some gummy worms on hand!
